Summer is Busy on the Farm!

July 2, 2008
IMG 9294+for+blog Summer is Busy on the Farm! Roxy+and+Flynn+for+Blog Summer is Busy on the Farm! I have been a bad blogger but GOODNESS I have been busy. With haying, working on grass-fed issues and trying to have a social life I have been neglecting my blog. I am back friends. The Irishman is in Ireland for a few weeks seeing the “new” Ireland. He has not been back since 1999 and is staying with his uncle who is an organic sheep farmer. I can not wait to hear about what he has to say about how the EU has impacted the Irish economy and the agricultural sector particularly. Above are our two dogs having some fun in the lake. EU agricultural policy is fascinating isn’t it?

On another note. I am taking my father to Dan Barber’s Blue Hill at Stone Barns today. I think he will get a hoot out of the whole farm is a restaurant thing. I am bringing my camera and I will blog about Blue Hill!

    :)
Are there tours of the farm where you make all that lovely sausage?

  • Bob del Grosso

Yes, we give tours but I would not book one unless I was coming with a large (>10) group.
It’s a very small farm so if you want a look around you can just look around.
